You can canoe
the section of the Cahaba River, from the Hwy 52 bridge in Helena and
through the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area, at water flow levels
above 250 cubic feet per second. Anything much over 500 cubic feet
per second will require substantial skill at maneuvering your water
craft. I plan to post information concerning put in and take out
locations once I have had an opportunity to scout the river. |
