The Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area is a great Alabama resource open to everyone.  It is not perfect, however, and YOUR HELP is needed in order to allow the Management Area to reach its fullest potential.

I have lived a few miles from the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area for many years, and I have greatly enjoyed the the outdoor opportunities that the WMA has to offer.  I have hunted game, big and small.  I have fished the Cahaba River and the many lakes and ponds that dot the landscape.  I have enjoyed hiking the trails and photographing the landscape.  I have waited under Falling Rock Falls as a spring thunderstorm blew by.  I have canoed and waded the Cahaba River.  I have viewed the passing of a comet and the light show of falling stars from a cleared ridge.  I have shared these things, and more, with family and friends while developing memories that will last a lifetime.

Unfortunately, there are those who would take the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area for granted.  As citizens of Alabama and users of the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area, NOT ONLY CAN WE HELP....WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP ! ! !  If you see someone breaking a law, WMA rule or regulation; contact the District III Office in Northport immediately (205/339-5716).  Inform them of what you have seen with as much detail as you can provide.  They have quick access to our local enforcement officers.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONFRONT THE PERPETRATOR(S) ON YOUR OWN.  This is better left to Law Enforcement Professionals.
