| Dove Hunting on the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area There is at least one field that I know about that is managed specifically for Dove Shooting on the Management Area. The field is located just outside of Dogwood, AL off of CO. Rd. 22. If you enter the Management Area from the East side, you go through Dogwood and turn Right on Land View Road just before Macedonia Church. You follow this road to the power lines and the field is on both sides of the road. Dove season continues to be split for the 2007-2008 Season. The dates are:
Dove hunting is allowed daily from noon until sunset. Remember that in addition to your state hunting license, you need a Wildlife Management Area License and also a Permit (map). Dove hunting is not allowed on the Cahaba River Refuge. Don't forget that you will need the Federal H.I.P. sticker also!
