"Funds Drive" to Purchase a Digital Camera for the Cahaba River WMA, a Success!Many thanks to those who contributed funds for the purchase of a Digital Camera for the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area. Thanks to contributions from Message Board participants Pat, Turk, CRGrant and numerous anonymous contributors, we were able to raise enough funds to purchase a Nikon Coolpix L4 and 256MB memory card. I was able to track down the Area Biologist, Chas Moore, on Tuesday August 22, 2006 and deliver the camera to him. Officer Moore was busy performing maintenance work along with Biologist Aide, Myron Wiley. It was hot and these boys were busy performing manual labor! I appreciate them taking a few moments to visit with me and the gracious manner in which Office Moore received the camera.
